The KINGS Boxing Club was established by the Avenal Sheriff's and the City of Avenal in 1999 as an outlet for youngsters to participate in an organized and competitive sport at no cost to the athletes The Boxing Club operates under the auspices of the Sheriff's Activities League and is sanctioned by the Central California Association of USA Boxing. The Director and Head Boxing Coach is Armando Mancinas, a former Amateur champion and professional boxer with more than fourteen years experience inside the ring and another fiftenn years as a competitive coach. Coach Mancinas is assisted by his wife/assistant coach - Maria. |
